Case Study | 51 Admiral Crescent, Springfield Lakes
This 2003 era rental property was in a dilapidated state with the two bathrooms in need of urgent replacement. With the owner looking to sell the property, we were briefed to replace both bathrooms and undertake a makeover of the entire house. The owner wanted a modern, high end feel that would appeal to buyers and maximise profit from the sale of the property.
What We Did
We removed both the ensuite and the main bathroom, changed the current freestanding vanities into wall hung vanities. This resulted in more room and the desired contemporary feel. Luxury tapware and showerheads and a 6 bar towel rail were installed To finish the bathroom we tiled the floors in large Alpine charcoal tiles and white subway tiles on the walls.
The house was repainted, new floors installed throughout, the kitchen was painted in Dulux Lexicon with new handles installed. The existing kitchen benchtop was replaced with Ceasarstone ‘clamshell’ benchtop with an undermount sink. The kitchen was finished off with white subway tiles with grey grout.
With the changes made, the property sold in under two weeks and at a record price per square metre for the suburb- an outcome the owner could only have dreamed about before the renovation.
