Design brief: Natural / timber / luxurious

The unique patterned tiles of this main bathroom make an immediate impression. Our clients wanted to incorporate a natural / timber look into a luxurious bathroom design for the whole family to enjoy.

To create this zone, we removed the dividing walls between the toilet, bathroom and hallway to create one large luxurious retreat. The tiles highlight the elegance of the generous freestanding bath. The separate shower zone uses a concealed waste to highlight the unique wooden flooring. The wall hung vanity increases the open feeling of the space and offers storage for the whole family.

Project Challenges

Access to the project site was difficult. It was unusual to find concrete on a 2nd story which had to be drilled through due to accommodate plumbing in the refigured bathroom layout.

We think the trouble was well worth the effort – it is a fantastic space. The natural / timber colours compliment the home really well and the owners are so thrilled with their new space, we hope to see them soon for an ensuite renovation!

Customer Testimonial

BrisWest Renovations did an amazing job on our 1970’s bathroom makeover!

Pete and his fantastic tradesmen transformed our small main bath/toilet into a beautiful big open space. Pete has the attention for detail that goes well and truly past expectations … I think he needs to be renamed Pete the Perfectionist!

We are really happy with the outcome and there were no surprises along the way that were not discussed from the onset – only problem now is that I don’t use our ensuite any more as the main bathroom is too beautiful not to shower and bath in everyday!

Thanks ! – J. Albert
